A modern hotel with amiable employees from the receptionists to the porter to the restaurant staff. Lovely view, nice hot breakfast options with gluten free options and many local dishes. Amazing and incredible location in a palace in a perfect location, and lovely big bedrooms.

the hotel was spotless and the staff were incredibly friendly and approachable. the location of the venue was perfect, right in the heart of Caceres. 3. I enjoyed dining at both the tapas restaurant for dinner and the tapas bar.

Delightful small hotel with nice staff members from the receptionists to the porter to the restaurant staff. Marvellous and stunning location - just next door to a quiet plaza in the city center, an updated 16th-century palace and main square.
Nothing special views from the window.

very big beds and very active attention. It is right next to the centre and you can drive up to the door, there is even an area reserved for unloading suitcases without any problem even if you do not have a reserved parking space. At 3 minutes is the Playa Mayor and just behind the hotel all the monumental area. in the street parallel to the square there are streets for shopping (for those who like that kind of leisure). Highly recommended.
I had no problem, they even offered to carry my bags, but for families with carrichocles or with a certain age, there are obligatory stairs (5 or 6 steps, it's not crazy) since it's a 15th century palace, and although with an elevator, to access some rooms you have to climb stairs. So if you have a handicap it is not recommended, and if you have a baby carriage or reduced mobility please let us know in comments so that we can assign you a room with more comfortable access.

The service was brilliant. Comforts of the superior room were fabulous - an individual safe, air conditioner, and a mini-bar. - the breakfast was great with great products and many local dishes available, exactly what we required.

Beautiful hotel in the very centre of the city. reception staff were very welcome and very helpful, parking was explained in detail. hotel is a former ducal palace and fascinating. room and bathroom were very clean. There is an excellent bar, dining room and breakfast room. food at dinner was both interesting and excellent and our waitress was especially attentive. Breakfast was extensive. I would certainly stay here again. The coffee at breakfast was from a machine which, whilst producing excellent coffee, was unbelievably slow. The coffee at breakfast was from a machine which, while producing excellent coffee, was unbelievably slow.

The hotel has a beautiful entrance, with art exhibitions on its walls and a good detail of drinks and gummies offered to you when you arrive on Friday. Breakfast seemed too expensive so I didn't hire it, mainly because I knew that there were great places for breakfast (and for lunch in general) a few meters away from the establishment. The best thing about the hotel is undoubtedly its location, two steps away from the main square, the medieval old town and very close to Paseo de Cánovas.
The only problem was that I thought the room was too small, because the huge bed, which was very good, ate up practically all of it. There was a lot of space in the wardrobe to hang the clothes but not a single drawer and only two shelves, which makes it a bit difficult to put the clothes on when you stay in a room for a little longer than a weekend. What is excellent about the hotel, its location, becomes negative for the access to the establishment, since arriving by car to the same one is a little infernal due to the pedestrianization and prohibition of access of many streets; it is necessary to give many turns. Fortunately the hotel has a few places at the entrance so that you can unload your bags upon arrival and they offer you an agreement with a nearby car park (Obispo Galarza) at a good price. Anyway, my recommendation is not to take that car park, because if you drive around a bit in the nearby streets (Reyes Católicos, for example) it is not difficult to park without paying anything.

This place is stunning, and the staff here are so accommodating, from the receptionists to the porter to the restaurant staff. The rooms are modern, quite spacious, and even come with a balcony for that extra touch of relaxation. 🌟

Everything in the hotel we liked, bed so great and comfortable to ensure a good rest, common areas and special care, historic building where he stayed, breakfast, location so spectacular, close to the center and historic center and quiet intramural but with terraces and atmosphere... above all this I must emphasize the attention of all professionals who attended us! Excellent, really, from the receptionist, person who helped us with the bags, breakfast waiters... All attentive to our needs, going ahead and asking us to offer help. I must even comment that, as we were going for our anniversary, they left us in the room a cordial note with some sweets. Quite a detail! We recommend this hotel, it is better than the Parador in decoration and price. We will be back!
I would suggest fine-tuning the cleaning. room and bathroom were clean, of course, I saw some details that shouldn't be, like a bunch of hairs on the bathroom floor or dust on the rails of the closet doors, in the direct sunlight, were quite visible.

The room well, the staff friendly and professional, cleaning well, the breakfast buffet is hired separately, correct without more.
entrance to the hotel as well as to the parking lot arranged by car, horrible depends on the day you have your navigator and streets under construction, I was not enough to learn every sense of every street in the historical center. We contrasted this opinion with other clients of the hotel with whom we agree. free wifi only works for the WhatsApp and little more, if you want to browse, download or any other operation you have to pay for the wifi plus, so if you don't want to pay forget about the computer, besides it disconnects constantly, you have to reconnect it as soon as you stop using it for a short space, I wouldn't know how much, nuisance. From the elevator to the reception there are two small sections of stairs, without a ramp, I imagine that being an old palace is difficult to solve, truth is that the transport of suitcases becomes uncomfortable for older people or with mobility limitations, I had to help a couple of customers in difficulty, from the reception is not seen and not detected, unless you call from the room and hope that there is availability of staff, almost no one does it for what I observed. television can be something complicated to use for some people, welcome screen does not have a clear menu, by default it is in English, you have to change it to Spanish every time you turn it on, to be able to see the available channels you have to investigate with the remote, to me it was not so easy and for what we commented, to the others neither, it has international satellite television but not any platform of payment, nowadays a 4 stars hotel and it is supposed that it aspires to be one of the best of Caceres, I do not believe that it is to ask in excess. shower well, just a detail, plate gives a sense of insecurity in front of slips and has no stool that makes more comfortable and safe foot hygiene, for some people may be important, did not call reception to request one.

The room I booked was spacious with a comfortable king-size bed, a big TV, and a modern bathroom, plus there was a tapas restaurant and bar on the premises.

building where it is located, super big bed, calm, location, cleanliness etc. Friendly staff (especially the two gentlemen who were there in the morning) In general we liked the hotel and we would repeat without hesitation.
What we didn't like or what we would improve: the urgent thing would be to devise a solution so that if someone goes to the bathroom at night, the one who is still in bed doesn't wake up with the light. Let me explain: it has already been invented and it is called brick, but in the room we had, they chose glass or crystal for the upper part of the partition that separates the bathroom. Result? That the light of the bathroom can be seen in the whole room. The same was true of some button that obscured the glass, but at least we didn't see it. I would also add a mirror in the room, there's only the one on the sink. I think nothing else, just those two almost unimportant things.

The location is great, the building is historic.
Almost all standard double rooms are very dark with the window going to the internal inter-building space. The natural darkness is reinforced by the color of the walls... Quite depressing. I asked to change my room three times, and finally they gave me a room with a window going to the square in front of the hotel. Internet is for free only in public spaces.

Fantastic location right by Plaza de San Juan, close to many attractions and shopping areas. Situated on one of the most charming plazas in Cáceres' historic district.

The location is excellent, right next to the medieval part of town. The hotel is very nice. We will be back.
The upgrade to a superior room is not worth it. The regular rooms are almost as nice and as big.
